Harry "The Horse" Goldstein is the leading light in Organised Labour (unions) in Unity. He is the leader of the Amalgamated Engineering and Boiler Makers number 3824 (Unity RI) chapter, which is the largest and most active of Unity's unions.

It is the subject of much discussion exactly how tied up in The Mob he is, but it is usually assumed (as he is Jewish) that he is protected by the Boston mob against too much local interference.

The other union leaders let him take the publicity and credit and blame for activity locally. His broken nose and heavily chewed cigar are a familiar sight on the front page of the local papers.

His nick name of "The Horse" is of unclear origin.
