(Isn't it the Lincoln Theater?)
Lincoln Theatre was built in 1923 in Unity for the purpose of showing movies. The proprietor, AbnerBaird, is also the pianist.
On the outside is a fantastic clockwork contraption for automatically listing film times. However, a mouse decided to make the device its home, and on the opening night the contraption's alphabet wheels spun madly, before coming finally to rest with a loud "clank" in the following positions:

The theatre was burnt almost to the ground in late July 1926; all that could be salvaged was the broken device.
