Underneath the School of Antiquities is housed a repository for artefacts recovered from various digs which are insufficiently interesting to have on display. There are several rows of storage for crates, with false 'corridors' between. The room is lit by a system of carbide lamps which were deemed too fragile or unreliable for field use. The only access to the room is via a goods elevator (and small emergency stairwell) from the back room of the small museum of the School of Antiquities. Due to the many valuable items on the upper floor, this has a 24 hour security guard.
ProfessorMontgomeryScott instituted a rigourous indexing system, but since his premature demise this has become outdated through a mix of ink spills and aggressive neglect. A few individuals, including AlsoudHassam, have appropriated corners for storage of various archaeological finds but don't really know what is in the crates outside their particular area.
