::FrontPage:1200061577:: Welcome to the "Unity" Campaign Wiki.

"Unity" is a TroupeStyle CallOfCthulhu campaign, in which any of ThePlayers can take the role of GM and run a scenario for the others. This wiki holds the increasingly labyrinthine background that we've created; MikePitt's GuidedTour gives a good overview if you've not been using the wiki from the start.

The campaign is set in TheTownOfUnity, exactly 80 years ago (see RealTime). TheCharacters are all members of TheUnitySociety.

Scenarios are run from time to time, and groups are made up of whoever feels like it. The original intention was for sessions to be sporadic, and fill in the gaps between other things, but we ended up playing regularly on Tuesday for four months or so. For details of past scenarios, see AdventurePages. For an idea of what to look forward to, see ComingAttractions.

Before running a game, it's probably best to check out NonPlayerCharacters and AbstractConcepts to see whether someone's asked for a lock on anything you might want to use. Before playing in a game, you may wish to catch up on what happened PreviouslyInUnity, or just read the UnityQuotes to get a feel for what's gone on.

Early experiments have suggested that the Wiki isn't the best way to organise time-critical things like games; the MailingList ( unity@einval.com ) works far better.
