Sarah works as a nurse for JuliusErlich in his unlicensed surgery at the edge of the slums.
She is short and fairly pretty with brown hair, and a clear and rather pleasant Irish accent. Though Sarah is a second generation Irish immigrant, her husband, John, can trace his family back through several generations of dock labourers and casual workers.
She has no formal medical training, but she's a smart gal, and more than makes up for it with an air of unflappable competence, and a friendly confident manner.
Sarah doesn't know that the practice is unlicensed, but then she doesn't know that a medical practice needs to be licensed. She's willing to be paid a little less than maybe she could be paid elsewhere, partly because she believes Julius is a good and dedicated doctor, and partly because there's the odd ex-patient around in the slums who's willing to extend a girl who works for Julius a little extra credit.
