T P Burnham's Travelling Circus visited Unity in April of 1924. The matter of its disturbing freak show was dealt with in TheGreatestShowOnEarth, following which the circus closed and re-opened under the management of BladeHiltonall, the sword-swallower. The matter of its hypnotic magician, The Great Astoundo, however, remains unresolved.
In addition to a collection of side shows (including the aforementioned freak show, "The Museum Of Nature's Mistakes", a hall of mirrors by the name of "Astoundo's Maze", and a man who fails to guess the weight of dogs), the big top hosted a variety of acts, including the aforementioned Messrs Hiltonall and Astoundo, the Balancing Bavarians, and a husband and wife knifethrowing act (and not, as some advertising suggested, a husband and wife throwing act).
