Tristan is a member of a secret international conspiracy attempting to control the world through domination of the CAD software industry. In his spare time he fails to know anything about computers, reads a great deal of very bad fiction and wanders around Cambridge looking vaguely lost.
His creative efforts include the epic "Tree and the Sword", which despite negative reviews from many critics and some early casting problems was a success with the players, and the sci-fi drama "Loyalists". After the dramatic conclusion to the third season, where the players blew up the person they were suppposed to be rescuing with a kinetic lance strike from orbit, the Loyalists trilogy has finished. The studio are attempting to commission a further series set in the same universe.
Meanwhile he is working on smaller projects, such as the swashbuckling espionage thriller "Mission:Implausible" which ran at Ambercon 2004. Although this previewed well, the actual presentation was disjointed. Critics lauded the dramatic scenes but lambasted the lack of narrative coherence and the bad timing of the reveals.
Another recent project is the "Telepath trilogy". Envisaged as a series of three short stories set in the Babylon 5 universe, this is currently in its second season and has proved something of a cult hit with the players.
A promising playing career was launched by his portrayal of Gwyntar in the trend setting "Animus Silvae" campaign, but he has failed to extend his repertoire far outside the magus niche, with only his driven, viciously witty Aceris attracting any critical acclaim whatsoever. Rachel, the whimsical and mysterious trump artist from Vivek's "Brands' Return" series, could be a future star.
Rumours that a new project codenamed "Whitewash" is in the early planning stages have been repeatedly denied by sources close to him.
In Unity, Tristan has played the Egyptian emigre AlsoudHassam and claims he is 'looking forward to another oppurtunity to explore the personality of the academic'. However he has largely discontinued his involvement, citing fears of being "typecast".
