Alden has been roleplaying since the first days that he could clench an imaginary firearm in an imaginary pudgy fist. A lover of all things that burn, explode, go bang, or make holes in things, his passion is violence.
Not in an unhealthy way, though.
Alden has recently broken the mould with his skillful and tender portrayal of pacifistic characters such as
Felipe the handsome South-American songsmith with an eye for the ladies, in Ben Chalmers' beautifully shot El-Amarjan masterpieces.
- IC3T/3DR01D, the robotic libertarian and socialist political campaigner, in the Catherine Pitt's haunting tale of betrayal in deep space.
Lenny, a pathetic whining angel in Rob Hague's masterful tale of the passion and glory of a war in heaven.
Oh, and he ran a some sort of dark future game in Africa, where people probably walked around pointing machineguns and rocketlaunchers at things, and blowing them away for no reason. Also a fenland kung-fu conspiracy game, where Jon Church creeped everyone with blood out then went off to drum.
In the Unity game, Alden will be living out his fantasies of academic success as JuliusErlich.
