Coming from the The Running Horses Group, the darlings of the roleplaying world, Ben went on to better things during his time in Cambridge. His first effort was a minor part in the overly complex Operation Pheonix. He is not especially credited with much in the way of plot, but was responsible both for the musical number (both lyrics and choreography) and as an assistant director. He became more mainstream in Over The Edge : The One With Too Many Players (recently rereleased as Over The Edge: The One With the Dolphin Dogs). Abuzz with success he went on to work on the forgettable Castle Falkenstein epic "The Ministry", but only became a firm fixture in the entertainment world when his collaberation eith RobHague on Freeman Jinks started an unparalleled merchandising and tie-in boom. More recently BenChalmers has worked on the troubled Over The Edge : Genesis and Deuteronomy series.

Less is known of Ben's playing tallents. His Amelia acheived some small acclaim, and his Juanitta, while slow starting has recently blossomed. His male roles are less notable: Ria, Black, and Box seem to have contributed nothing new to the gaming world. It is only in Amamus and perhaps Merkardo that a little of the true Chalmers has come through.

Ben's newest challenge will be Lisa DaVinci in the forthcoming smash Unity.
