Steve struggled from early career choices that left him with a typecasting problem. Dwarves can be exciting interesting characters, but the critics just weren't convinced. He eventually moved on to play some more challenging roles in a wide variety of genres; witness the swashbuckling Alexander in the big-budget fantasy production Opening the Box, the illustrious pilot Jordan in the Star Wars mini-series and (his most acclaimed portrayal) the fiery mage Julius in the epic From Here To Brasilia.
And who could forget the starring role as Klunt in the Warhammer Linear Plot escapade? Maybe the dwarf fixation hasn't quite gone away...
Now in charge of RobertJohnson and his family.
