William Sweet is the maitre d' at ChezHenri. Born locally in 1892, he's worked his way through several bar and restaurant jobs in Unity. William is always impeccably dressed, with a fine sense of style. He is 5'10 tall, with short cropped black hair.
Sweet is not above bending the law. He sources alcohol and other contraband through JonathanGray, for example, and was convicted of fraud against the FirstNationalBankOfUnity in April 1908, for which he served 18 months.
He is known to have a keen interest in local history, but never had any real dealings with TheUnitySociety until he was sent down in May 1923 for his part in the fraud in TheGoldenYears. He is expected to stay in LincolnDistrictPenitentiary for a long time. He vowed that he would have his revenge against EricColigny, JackProctor and BenitoTorelli as well as the JenkinFamily, SamuelVernon and GilCobbett. Sweet's testimony against the latter was not sufficient to warrant charges being made, as no other evidence could be found.
Sweet was released from LincolnDistrictPenitentiary in May 1931, and started planning his revenge. He had spent much of his time in the slammer sharing a cell with a nutjob (CorneliusWebster) who truly believed in all the old Mayan mythology. Sweet decided to use him to help with revenge - a hoax to draw people in. Except it didn't quite work out - see RevengeIsSweet.
Sweet was last seen being swallowed up by an enormous dark serpent. Safe to assume he's DEAD.
