JohnAcier is the coach of the JenkinDragons.
He was, in his time, the star quarterback for the Dragons, earning the nicknames "Ace" and "the man of Steel" (acier is french for steel). After his final game for the Dragons, in 1909, the team presented him with a ring bearing an embossed dragon symbol.
Until 1923, Acier he remained an imposing figure of a man; tall, bulky and with a mop of blonde hair above his dark eyes. However, after the Greens' defeat in the 1922 Plate match he has lost the respect of the public. It is common knowledge that the (ahem) Smart Money was on Brown, and most people think he somehow threw the game; out of shame, he took to wearing his ring with the symbol on the inside.
In 1923, TheMob asked him to win. In order to ensure a victory, he turned to the services of PaulTatish, who provided him with NerveTonic to improve the Dragons' performance. He was reluctantly drawn into a series of murders, and eventually came to TheUnitySociety to ask them to help him stop Tatish. When they arrives at the station too late to stop him leaving, Acier drank a whole bottle of NerveTonic, and collapsed.
