The BlackMolassesSugarMonster and the SlugsAndSnailsMonster
The Black Molasses Sugar Monster is assumed to be the source of BlackMolassesSugar, held in Vat 3 at the abandoned MolassesDistillery. The Slugs and Snails monster was encountered there during UnearthlyGoode, where TheCharacters dissolved it in acid. The relationship between the two is not known for certain, but the Slugs and Snails monster seemed to be acting to free the Black Molasses Sugar monster.
The DesertPeople aka InvisibleMonkeys
Evil, pasty midgets with seven fingers one each limb, they have rituals that allow them to hibernate for several thousand years (after which they are awoken by x-rays), and to become near-invisible. Described in TheMontgomeryScottManuscript, and first encountered in TheCasket.
Morbidly obese humans, under the influence of BlackMolassesSugar. They can move at speeds comparable with an automobile by skimming along the ground on their bellies, much as penguins do over ice. See UnearthlyGoode
The SerdtsePiyavka
- From russian folklore - a tale told to stop children playing with pine cones. Llittle ones lurk in pine cones, feeding off the nuts, and they'll bite your fingers; big ones hang in the trees, sucking the sap; and they'll drop down and suck the courage out of your heart.
Used by PaulTatish in HereBeDragons.
Big and Norse. Likes Scandium, and human sacrifice. See ShadowTheatre.
[Lycanthrope]s
- People can turn into wolves once infected with lycanthropy via a bite or scratch
- Lycanthropes are almost immortal, apart from a strong allergic reaction to silver and being killed by fire
- The full moon has some strange effect on the victims; for most of the time people will show no symptoms, but for a couple of days either side of the full moon they develop symptoms.
- There is no known cure for lycanthropy once it has taken hold, short of a silver bullet
[X ray Ghosts]
LisaDaVinci's first explanation of the gruesome events of TheCasket. Since blamed for everything which requires things to be invisible and walk through walls, which is a surprisingly large number of things.
