<<< This doesn't seem to open in a browser with the Adobe SVG plugin; is it being served with the correct mime type? (Don't know what you could do about it if not) -- RobHague >>>
<<< http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~rgh22/unity/unitymap.svg serves that file with the mime-type image/svg-xml (as opposed to text/plain), so it should work with browser plugins (and, indeed, native browsers, should you have one lying around). This was achieved by putting a .htaccess file containing the line "AddType image/svg-xml .svg" in the directory with the map file. It might be worth trying this for the ntlworld URL; they're using Apache, so it may well work (depends if they AllowOverride for that case). -- RobHague >>>
