<<< At Simon's request, I've removed the page FixMe, such that that WikiWord appears in easy-to-spot brown. However, I've also created the macro FixMe, which works even better. -- RobHague >>>

You can set your password using the script http://www.srcf.ucam.org/~rgh22/unityPassword.cgi . The authentication method is HTTP Basic, so bear in mind that this password gets sent in the clear, for every request, so it's somewhat prone to packet-sniffing, and hence you probably shouldn't use the password for your online banking or anything.

Stray [Working Title] (StevenKitson)
<<< does that mean we have to think up bad puns for this one too? -- SimonBooth >>>
<<< Or ShakespearesSister filk? -- RobHague >>>
<<< I'd suggest that the above be considered as a set of adventures that are to be run at some point in the future, rather than an ordering. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have a separate list for "to run in the immediate future", which would dictate the ordering. Or we could just play it by ear. Comments? -- RobHague >>>
<<< I'm not sure a list which *did* dictate ordering is needed - we can just ask who's next at the end of each adventure, much as we did before. It might be worth having a Season 3 for adventures which we wanted to hint at/show off and were certain we wanted to run but which we definitely didn't want to run any time soon. -- SimonBooth >>>
<<< Indeed; would a ComingAttractions page with a table be a better idea? -- RobHague >>>
<<< Maybe, but it would tread on the toes of the Front Page quite a bit - if we move that stuff off, I doubt the front page would get any maintenance. -- SimonBooth >>>
<<< I'd consider that a good thing; the more stable the front page, the better. I'd go for having ComingAttractions on it's own page, and updating only the current scenario (or maybe the next one) on the front page. On a separate note, we seem to have a mixture of nested and flat comments - which looks better? I'm going to add a "reply to this comment" button at some point, but I'm not sure which the default behaviour should be. My preference is for non-nested, unless there's a later reply that gets inserted. Opinions? -- RobHague >>>
<<< IMO Non-nested looks nice, nested works. -- SimonBooth >>>
<<< Changing from non-nested to Nested (or as in this case vice versa) provides a neat way to show a break from the originale excahnge, either a digression or a new voice. So I'd make non-nested default to let people add Nesting -- MikePitt >>><<< Fixed indent Mike >>>
<<< How 'bout the default behaviour is to nest if the next thing on the page is a comment, and not nest if it's something else? -- RobHague >>>
<<< That only works at ground level, IYSWIM - if you reply to a reply without nesting, it looks like a reply to the original comment (see the SandBox at the top) -- SimonBooth >>>
<<< Oh, and I'll rough out a ComingAttractions page to demonstrate what I have in mind. -- RobHague >>>
<<< Mike beat me to it. -- RobHague >>><<< Hah! Seriously I didn't see this. Sorry! -- MikePitt >>>
<<< Suggestion -- graveyard this and move discussion about comments to another place -- the feature heap? as it isn't really appropriate for FrontPage -- MikePitt >>>
<<< agreed -- SimonBooth >>>

Now Showing:
HouseRepairs (MikePitt) (title subject to change)
<<< I vote for no title change. HouseRepairs is a good name. -- AldenSpiess >>>
<<< Is the actual wording 'property repairs'? -- StevenKitson >>>
<<< I vote we call it HomeImprovement, and we get the guy who plays Wilson to guest as Mr. Flanagan. -- SimonBooth >>>
<<< seconded! -- AldenSpiess >>>
<<< Tough. MikePitt >>>
<<< We're not going to have to informally call it TheGreatRetcon, are we? -- StevenKitson >>>
<<< I really am short of a good name for it. Any suggestions? MikePitt >>>
<<< TheTunnel? The RiversideMystery? TheMysteriousGoingsOnAtTheSandersonHouse? Sanderson Ghost 2? -- SimonBooth >>>
<<< TheStrangeCaseOfBenjaminCohen ?? MikePitt >>>
<<< AaronCohen - Speculator? TheBuilderFromOutOfTime? TheThingThatConvertedTownhouses? A Shadow Under Riverside? FactsConcerningThePropertyDeveloperAaronCohenAndHisSon? CoolAaron? -- SimonBooth? >>>

Graveyard page for the FrontPage
abortive DSW over plot range - moved by SimonBooth
<<< so it's like that, eh?
FollowTheWhiteRabbit (SimonBooth) -- SimonBooth >>>
<<< I'm only listing the adventures in a 'ready to run, if given a day or two of warning' state. I could list DoubleBlind, ShadowsOfThePast, TheBigSleep, LightAndShade, and Ragronoake (which I think is misspelled, but not in the way you might suspect), but they are somewhat more nebulous and subject to change -- BenChalmers >>>
<<< You win... and I suspect it's Ragnaroanoke-- SimonBooth >>>
<<< Hmmm. Ragroanoke I think... a sort of pun via syllabic spoonerism-- BenChalmers >>>
Do we really ned to keep this one?:
<<< Basically, I think the policy is to keep everything, just in case. Obviously, come the revolution (or version control, as it's known to it's friends), all of these issues will magically disappear... -- RobHague >>>

Discussion of TheAnathemaDevice - moved by SimonBooth
<<< Is that a reference to Good Omens? MikePitt >>>
<<< Thankyou! That had been bugging me... -- RobHague >>>
<<< Not directly, but I liked the sound of the words, and thought I'd play with them a bit. -- AldenSpiess >>>
Discussion of DiscussionDiscussion
Moved by RobHague, on the suggestion of AldenSpiess
<<< I've removed a couple of outdated discussions; if there are any objections, shout and I'll restore them from a backup (this won't always be an option). We should probably sort out a policy on discussions; see the DiscussionDiscussion page. -- RobHague >>>
<<< Sorted in content. Can we move this to the DiscussionGraveyard now? -- AldenSpiess >>>
Discussion of TheCasket
(RobHague)
<<< We also need to sort out the first session; I could run my first scenario, tentatively titled TheCasket, but this only takes advantage of TheUnitySociety's centenary in the most perfunctory way. If anyone wants to run a scenario that exploits it more fully, be my guest... -- RobHague >>>
<<< For those of you who haven't been there at the right times, I have suggested that Rob runs his game as the first one, but we push back the anniversary to the second or third story. This allows us to get started quickly, but gives time to come up with a good way to use the anniversary -- StevenKitson >>>
<<< I concur -- RobHague >>>
