• Monday 4th September:

  • WHPL Radio's first broadcast <<< and then the problems begin. Radio is responsible for the downfall of Unity! We must burn down the station! MikePitt >>>

• Monday 18th September:

  • Work begins on Vat 3 at the MolassesDistillery. HarryGoldstein speaks out against use of non-union, non-unity workers.

• October:

  • Game begins.

• Sunday 29th October - Friday 10th November: TheCasket

  • ProfessorMontgomeryScott is killed, and as a result AlsoudHassam becomes head of Egyptology at the Archaelogy Department of JenkinUniversity. TheCharacters kill one of the DesertPeople that emerged from the casket, but two others escaped. AlsoudHassam inherits TheMontgomeryScottManuscript.

• Tuesday 5th December:

  • Vat 3 completed; work begins on Vat 4. Goode's BlackMolassesSugar released to near-universal acclaim.

• Wednesday 20th December:

  • JackProctor goes to visit MarthaLandsmann in New York, and she persuades him to stay for Christmas, and then New Year. He'll probably be there until the middle of April.

1923

• Friday 5th January:

  • The Fat Burglar (see UnearthlyGoode) strikes for the first time

• Friday 12th - Saturday 13th January: The SandersonGhost

  • TheCharacters investigate the SandersonHouse, apparantly a haunted house, but discover that it's all a ruse to disguise a stash of stolen goods. The perpertrator, BenjaminCohen, is arrested and sent to LincolnDistrictPenitentiary to await trial.

• Sunday 21st - Sunday 28th January: ShadowTheatre

  • Unity painted pink with ScandiumOxide; HayesWebster causes Riots in Unity and Providence; EricColigny destroys JenkinAuditorium

• Tuesday 30th - Wednesday 31st January:

  • The Fat Burglar caught; Next morning, a thin man is found dead in his cell.

• Thursday 8th February:

  • The Fat Burglaries resume

• Sunday 11th - Monday 12th February: UnearthlyGoode

  • TheCharacters ambush the Fat Burglar. As a result of their investigations, the Molasses Distillery closes, BlackMolassesSugar ceases to be sold, EzraGoode is committed and both the HazzardBoilers workers and Eugene Hazzard go missing. TheCharacters acquire the BoilerManual.

• Friday 16th February:

  • TheGraveyardElm is published.

• Sunday 25th - Monday 26th February: TheAnathemaDevice

  • TheCharacters discover the HistoryMachine in the basement of 12 Devon Lane. EthanLocke enters therapy with DrJackson. Lisa DaVinci obtains TheBurkeLabJournal.

  • TheCharacters invited by ClementGreer to examine the JournalOfWilliamSmith, invited by Antonio DaVinci to investigate the death of Alex Bird. Greer's maid RobertaHenry revealed to work for TheUnityTimesChronicle. ClementGreer, SamuelPellecchia, MickeyMonahan, RuthSoto killed; TheAngelOfDeath shown to be JuniorAlessi; HayesWebster, BenitoTorelli declared his enemies.

• Wednesday 11th April:

  • JackProctor and MarthaLandsmann return to Unity

• Sunday 15th April: TheBookStopsHere

  • TheCharacters investigate the theft of the KnigaIvana from ArkadyKoldun. The trail ends with the book's cover on the bookshelf in the Tea Room, and the pages in the hands of OldAlex.

• Monday 16th - Monday 23rd April: CohenUnderground

  • TheCharacters return to the SandersonHouse, and discover a tunnel leading to the graveyard at the ChurchOfTheHolyCross. AaronCohen reveals that he shot Paddy O Reilly in the basement. TheCharacters are in court as witnesses as BenjaminCohen goes to jail.

  • Vandals or ghosts strike a graveyard

• Monday 30th April:

  • Vandals or ghosts strike the JenkinMausoleum; IsaiahJenkin's body no longer there.

• Sunday 6th May: TheGoldenYears

  • TheUnitySociety's centenary dinner is interrupted by the ghostly apparition of IsaiahJenkin. TheCharacters investigate a break-in at the UnityPublicLibrary.

• Thursday 2nd August

  • President Harding dies, and is replaced by President Coolidge (see http://www.whitehouse.gov/history/presidents/cc30.html )

• Monday 20th August

  • JackProctor's landlady, MrsKline, dies following a seizure.

• Tuesday 4th - Wednesday 5th September: ThinkOfTheChildren

  • RobertJohnson's children are sent home following an abduction at the recently-renamed WarrenHardingMemorialSchool. TheCharacters assist the police with the investigation into the abduction, and ultimately disturb the abductor JonathanMason during a ritual, who is then taken away by the Nightgaunt he had summoned.

• Friday 12th - Thursday 18th October: HereBeDragons

  • TheCharacters investigate a series of murders connected to the JenkinDragons. They enlist the help of ArkadyKoldun, who is killed by PaulTatish. Warehouse C13 is destroyed, stopping the supply of NerveTonic to the RochesterJeffersons, and GilCobbett is caught in the explosion; he is unharmed, but is driven insane. PaulTatish escpaes to New York, and JohnAcier is driven insane by a NerveTonic overdose. EugeneHazzard is found to be playing for the RochesterJeffersons, who lose to the New York Giants. RebeccaSwarovski acquires a bloodhound, Henry.

• Saturday 22nd October

  • JackProctor discovers that he's inherited MrsKline's house in OldUnity

• Monday 19th November

  • BenitoTorelli's suit of chain mail arrives.

• Saturday 24th November

• Sunday 25th - Thursday 29th November: WordsWillNeverHurtMe

  • TheCharacters are invited to celebrate the publishing of SarahCarpenter's novel, Secrets. They discover that she has gone mad as a result of reading DieTeufelworte, which they burn.

1924

• Monday 21st January

  • JuliusErlich treats RobertWilson for injuries received in an attack by some sort of wild beast. Reports of livestock being attacked too.

• Sunday 17th - Friday 22nd February: UpAndDown

  • TheCharacters investigate werewolves in Unity. Several townsfolk are killed, EthanLocke is (briefly) a suspect. Root cause seems to be crew of a Spanish cargo ship that landed in December. Things go quiet again. For now. More questions to be answered...

• Tuesday, 22nd April: TheGreatestShowOnEarth

  • T P Burnham's TravellingCircus comes to town. Thanks to TheCharacters, JosephCarey, Elizabeth Carey, Oliver Dylan and David Wilkins are freed from the freak-show and restored to humanity. T P Burnham is killed, and both Astoundo and TracyTheApe escape.

• Saturday 17th - Tuesday 20th May: HowlsInTheNight

  • The werewolves return, in much greater numbers. Sunday night, those who don't stay indoors are killed. TheUnitySociety meets Dr Voinea, a Romanian werewolf expert. During the next night, more are killed, but TheCharacters, together with the UnityPoliceForce, destroy the wolves by aerial fire bombardment of VillersHill. JackProctor is bitten by a werewolf, but thanks to quick action by DrVoinea|Dr Voinea seems to have recovered.

• Thursday 22nd May

  • A memorial to the 131 total dead is put in place on VillersHill. The townsfolk and press begin to convince themselves that the wolf attacks were caused by rabies, and life slowly returns to normal.

• Monday 17th - Wednesday 19th June: HairApparent

  • JackProctor turns into a werewolf at the next full moon; DrVoinea seems to have a mad plan to take over the world but is killed by Jack. Maybe his notes contain a cure for lycanthropy.

• Wednesday 25th June:

  • JackProctor leaves hospital. He travels to New York a few days latter, in search of a translator.

• Sunday 29th - Monday 30th June: TheOneThatGotAwayWasThisBig

  • TatianaAptekara accidentally summons a SerdtsePiyavka. TheCharacters kill it, but they learn that another one is alive in the sewers under the UnityAsylum. They kill that one, too.

• Friday 29th - Sunday 31st August: Stray

  • 122 member JamesFlint dies, apparently killed in an attack by a wild animal. TheCharacters investigate, and find evil lurking in the woods, using children to terrorise Unity.

• Sunday 19th - Thursday 23rd October: The Historical Re-enactment Society

  • ElizabethEmai returns from the orient after 80 years, and shows a film that makes people build a stange tower on VillersHill. TheCharacters finds out she's actually the spirit of the Huang He river, and bind her to AlexanderGreystone using another oriental machine.

• Sunday 24th - Tuesday 26th November: SignedSealedDelivered

  • DrGarfieldParrish is captured by a shadowy creature, summoned by HilaryMerritt's apprentice, Jones, and is rescued by TheUnitySociety.

1925

• Thursday 29th January

  • MarthaLandsmann gave birth to JackProctorJr in LincolnDistrictHospital.

• Monday 9th - Tuesday 10th February: ThereIsNoCabal

  • AlexanderGreystone is kidnapped by the HermeticOrderOfTheGoldenDawn. He escapes, but inadvertantly curses himself using the powers of ElizabethEmai. TheUnitySociety investigate and discover the Order's headquarters in TheSlums, where they capture their leader, ImmanuelGoldstein. Emai kills Goldstein and lifts Alexander's curse.

• Friday 27th February (?) The RochesterClub opened by CraigShearer and BobbyArmstrong

• Monday 9th (?) March

  • JimAtkins arrives in Unity on orders from CommissionerRobson to clean up the town

• Tuesday 17th - Thursday 19th March: BlackAndWhite

  • TheUnitySociety discover that the drinks at the RochesterClub contain an addictive poison called "The AngerOfApollo". They confront the owners, who provide an antidote and agree to hand the club over to Toni DaVinci and their library to TheUnitySociety. TheCharacters arrange for JimAtkins, who has also become addicted to the poison, to be blackmailed.

• Friday 19th June - Saturday 20th June: TheKismetOfBabylon

  • During a train journey to New York, TheCharacters are drawn into a surreal dreamworld by Joshua. They do battle with a monster, and then arrive in New York. The characters drink heavily, and later learn that Joshua has died.

1926

• Thursday 8th Jan - FixMe: OutForTheCount

  • FixMe Vampires

• Tuesday 16th February - Saturday 20th February: DeadInTheWater

  • FrankShort resigns after he learns Lloyd McDonall is involved in the deaths of young girls. OfficerDown asks TheCharacters to investigate, and they learn that MarkStein is using the girls to keep an undead heart alive. His victims return to kill him. Lloyd remains police chief; Short remains unable to face police work.

• Monday 15th March - FixMe: PrimumNonNocere

  • SarahCarpenter leaves the asylum under the influence of MetaprandialDrugs. TheCharacters investigate, and eventually discover a mind-controlling creature under the house of Sarah's doctor. The house collapses along with the doctor, and Sarah and Robert declare their love for each other - twice.

• Sunday 11th April - FixMe: AndTheRockCriedOut

  • Corrupt policemen overtake Unity and force several of TheCharacters into seeking out their opponents - other policemen and RobertaHenry - who have used the undead heart to create GrimHealingPaste. Responding to death threats, the characters flee but find themselves trapped; the corrupt policemen "kill" JonathanGrey, and Hayes is forced to go straight. Eventually the characters do find the "good" cops, and engineer a shootout between the two sides at Lloyd McDonall's house. Most are killed, and McDonall is disgraced. FrankShort returns to Unity as an FBI agent.

• Tuesday 13th - Sunday 18th July: TheGoodeLife

  • TheCharacters learn that the Vat containing the BlackMolassesSugar monster is to be sold. They find it empty, and track the contents down to a farm called the LimeRockSocialistCollective, which the monster has posessed. They destroy the compost heap, killing the monster but freeing the farmers.

• Monday 26th - Wednesday 28th July: TheEntertainer

  • Weird goings-on with automata and seances at the home of a late escapologist.

1928

• Monday 9th - Thursday 12th January: SillyLoveSongs

  • FillypSidorov is possessed by a ghostly French spirit when he finds a diary hidden in RebeccaSwarovski's kitchen. They solve the mystery by working out how the Frenchman was killed and telling his distraught girlfriend.

• Sunday 22nd - Thursday 25th July: InTheHeatOfTheNight

  • Unity is nearly burnt up as some cultists try to raise a fire demon with human sacrifices. TheCharacters save the world by dealing with the cultists.

1929

• Sunday 10th - Tuesday 12th March: Dammit I'm Mad

  • Something tries to attack Unity from reflections in mirrors. EricColigny is killed as RobertJohnson resorts to dynamite to kill the demonic intruder.

1930

• Dates unknown: SomethingWickedThisWayComes

  • The circus comes to town, and it's not a nice place to be.

1931

• Saturday 28th February - Tuesday 3rd March: LookIntoMyEyes

  • A hypnotist comes to town on tour, and lots of robberies and deaths follow in his wake. TheCharacters find and destroy his voodoo pendant just in the nick of time.

• Monday 20th - Thursday 23rd April: The Devil Box

  • A demon-worshipper uses the power of television to bring terrifying nightmares to all who watch.
